If like myself you love a cold, sweet milkshake but would actually rather avoid the whole milk part, either for dietary or personal preference reasons then look no further! Introducing Rebel Kitchen’s range of gorgeous flavoured coconut milk drinks. They’re a company fighting back against un-natural ingredients often found in store bought products, and they’re doing it perfectly.

With a range of delicious flavours from the go-to (and my all-time favourite) Banana to Matcha Green Tea, there is a flavour for everyone. Each Mylk drink is made up of a coconut milk and spring water blend then sweetened with date nectar. With no refined sugars or additives it’s a healthy drink that is so tasty it actually feels naughty! I burnt through a pack of four in just a few days. Not only is Mylk a delicious alternative for you, it’s great for everyone; it’s Vegan, gluten free, paleo, nut free and soy free too – but don’t worry, it definitely doesn’t lack any flavour.

So apart from the obvious benefits of a dairy free product, how did Rebel Kitchen come about? “We’ve created Rebel Kitchen to spread positivity and light. To show consumers that eating healthily CAN taste awesome and should be FUN; offering genuinely healthy, simple snacks that are affordable for everyone.” I’d say! A pack of twelve will only set you back around £10.00 – and for your late afternoon sugar cravings at the office £1.20 per Mylk is nothing compared to the usual £5.00 for a fancy coffee and a biscuit…or two!

They’re great for kids and adults alike, perfect for on the go or enjoying at home – you could even freeze them and you’ve got yourself a milkshake flavoured ice lolly for the coming summer months. So keep an eye out next time you’re getting your groceries and I guarantee they’ll become a staple in your fridge – just try not to drink them all at once.
