A Very Semple Christmas

So there is now one week to go until the big day.  It’s normally around this time, after traipsing round a million shops and nursing yet another Christmas party hangover, that we start to wonder why the hell we bother anyway!  There are presents to wrap, trees to decorate and Christmas songs to be badly sung along to.  To remind us why we do it, I’ve asked my fellow Semple ladies to tell us what Christmas will look like for them this year:

Sophie

This Christmas I’ll be wearing… pjs and fluffy socks.  Pleated skirt and over the knee socks, very Cher from Clueless.

I have asked Santa for… nothing in particular as I love surprises. But shoes are always welcome.

On Christmas day I will be… seeing family and my gorgeous boyfriend. We will play Scattergories (and I will win), drink far too much champagne and eat our body weight in chocolates.

My Favourite Christmas tune is… Santa Baby by Madonna.

Christmas isn’t Christmas without… brussel sprouts, roasted chesnuts and all the people I love.

Christmas jumpers; essential or avoid at all costs? The tackier the better!!

This Christmas I’ll be wearing… whatever I feel suits the moment…probably warm jumpers and sweet and sexy outfits.

I have asked Santa for… some materialistic presents and karmic wishes.

On Christmas day I will be…with my family, dog and cat sharing an amazing lunch that mum will have cooked!

This Christmas I’ll be wearing… Topshop mom jeans and my vintage Christmas pullover!

On Christmas day I will be… eating far too much!

This Christmas I’ll be wearing… chunky knitwear and big socks – this christmas is all about cosy!

I have asked Santa for… black Chelsea boots so my brown ones can have a rest.

On Christmas day I will be… waking up early because I still get too excited to sleep. Then I will spend the day with family and eat far too much food.

My Favourite Christmas tune is… The Pogues – Fairytale of New York; an oldie but a goodie!

Christmas isn’t Christmas without… My husband, my family and cuddles with Pippa the dog.
