Jenny Packham fans and brides to be everywhere this one’s for you! The British designer, who is famed not only for her ready-to-wear collections, but also her bridal wear, has this month announced that she will be collaborating exclusively with Goldsmiths to create a new jewellery collection to sit alongside her dresses. The collection, which Packham describes as “delicate, feminine and pure” is set to be the latest bridal must have and no doubt will grace many a wedding Pinterest board in the coming months.
Jenny Packham has enjoyed great success as a clothing designer and the move to bridal jewellery will not disappoint. The exciting next step for Packham struck a cord with jewellers Goldsmiths who are said to have jumped at the chance to be a part of her new venture. “Our buying team has been conducting extensive research in the bridal market and we recognised quite quickly that there was a significant gap within the bridal jewellery market for a luxury British bridal brand … therefore, we took the decision to partner with the synonymous British bridal brand,” explains Goldsmiths executive director, Craig Bolton.
The designer, renowned for a celebrity clientele which includes the likes of Kate Middleton and Angelina Jolie, has designed three jewellery collections inspired by Hollywood and the stars of the night sky. Each capsule collection features an engagement ring, earrings and a necklace — ideal for the soon to be fiancé or the perfect accompanying accessories for a bride on her big day.
The Gloria Collection is inspired by none other than leading lady of the golden age, Gloria Swanson. The epitome of old Hollywood glamour The Gloria Collection is both intricate and contemporary, a decadent nod to the 1920s star. This cushion cut collection features a brilliant round diamond nestled in a square double halo of pavé set diamonds.
For her next collection the brightest stars in the night sky were Packham’s muse. The Aurora Collection features a stunning central statement diamond bordered by a delicate halo of pavé stones, which runs through each piece of the collection comprising of a drop pendant, stud earrings and engagement ring set on a fine diamond band.
For the final collection of the trio Packham looked to the French. The Étoile Collection, meaning star in French, is especially exquisite with its solitaire diamond. Encapsulating the signature Jenny Packham style the look is romantic, feminine and intricate in its detailing. Étoile truly is timeless contemporary elegance at its best; a collection perfect for any modern day bride.
The Jenny Packham X Goldsmiths diamond rings will start from £900 and go up to £7,800, while the jewellery ranges will begin at £600, with the highest piece reaching £1,140.
