On Sunday Custo Barcelona showcased its AW1415 collection celebrating its 35th catwalk in New York Fashion Week. The brand, which has become a classic in the Big Apple, didn’t disappoint the audience that once more enjoyed the eloquence of the Catalan designer.

The collection surprised with its sophisticated looks and refinement. With a base of nude, black, grey and camel, a clever application of bright shades with metallic reflections built up the colour palette that sustained the whole collection. Fluoride, fuchsia and violet beautifully wrapped the looks, which were continuous yet intriguing from the first to the finale. Velvet, leather and technological fabrics were cut to embrace women’s figure in a collection that celebrated femininity with elegance.

Tinted fur coats and urban hats inspired in the 90’s completed the major looks. Subtle animal prints and elaborated colour patterns on silk completed with distinction the personality of the fall collection, which also had military style and Japanese influences.

With this collection Custo Barcelona starts a new path towards sobriety while keeping the graphic style that launched the brand. On this occasion, the designer has mostly presented ready to wear looks that would also look beautiful on the street. Statement pieces, easy to combine and with that look that can make a cosmopolitan women unique.
