I have spent much of February preparing for March and more specifically Thursday 8 March International Women’s Day (IWD). During that time I have attended small scale events at The Club at The Ivy, observed women on large conference stages and held private meetings with a number of senior women. Each encounter has been an inspiration and opportunity for me to learn something new.
Ever since I can remember, I have tried to do something significant on IWD and this year is no different – we will publish The Semple Edit Issue 2, our free online magazine. It has the potential to reach millions of people.
Building on the success of Issue 1, our next Edit’s content is focussed on four of our client’s telling their stories about their lives. I think you will find their articles insightful and thought provoking particularly as this year’s IWD theme of #pressforprogress serves as a reminder that there is still much to do and much to celebrate about women in society.
However while IWD is for one day, we are celebrating women throughout March. We began our social media campaign of inspirational quotes on 1 March and here is preview of some of them to come. Follow us on instagram and twitter @maggiesempleltd to ensure you don’t miss out!
