Behind those doors that can barely shut lies, from a female’s perspective, a whole new world. A world where we can be as creative and adventurous as we wish.

You open the wardrobe and instantly lose yourself in the pile of clothes that fall directly on top of you, hopelessly trying to place them all back in tidily before giving up and leaving them wherever they fall. From the clothes littering the wardrobe floor to the crammed garments hung up on the rail, there just simply is not enough space!

As we rummage through our wardrobe we’re astonished by the sheer amount of clothes with the labels still on, before we come to the realisation that yes, we really do have a shopping addiction. Then we come across the clothes that we never even knew we had, something you would swear you’ve never seen it before and certainly don’t recall buying. Terrible. Saying that, it is essential for us to have a fair few unworn outfits for the unexpected nights out. Those ones are always the best.

Post Christmas we want to ensure that all our lovely new garments are hung up accordingly, nicely organised in order from summer dresses to winter tops – starting the new year with all the best intentions. Our favourite garments the most easily accessible, the rest hidden in the corner for a rainy day. A week later we realise that it was a complete and utter waste of time.

We all have the never-ending pile of clothes that we haven’t worn in the past 5 years, realistically we know we should get rid of them but just cant bring ourselves to. You never know, it might come back into fashion…

Searching through infinite amount of dresses before coming to the realisation that we have two near enough identical, just that one has lace trimming and the other doesn’t. Even we can admit that that is slightly over the top. Not to mention the hundreds of little black dresses, because a girl can simply never have enough.

All of those clothes yet we still always face the over-dramatised issue of having “nothing to wear”, when in reality we know we have a ton of clothes that haven’t been worn in years, or not at all. “They’ve already seen me in that outfit” we say, as though people are actually going to remember something we wore to a party last year.

Getting ready for a night out laying in the pile of clothes that we’ve tried on but just didn’t make the cut, before dramatically saying “that’s it, I’m not going”. When all we really crave is some attention and for some reassurance that the first outfit did actually look fine.

Face it, we women love clothes. No amount of clothes will ever be enough clothes and we will never stop ourselves from buying them, even if we do have one similar at home!
