I’ve just returned from one of the most memorable weekends with a group of friends. One of my nearest and dearest is about to get married and celebrating in true hen-do fashion: with lots of embarrassing dating stories from her past, too much alcohol and enough games and food to feed and entertain a large family for a week, we rented out a beautiful cottage in Bath. It was an amazing weekend and inspired me to look a little closer to home when the urge to take a few days off and isolate ourselves comes shadowing over us.
