This April there was only one place to be – Coachella 2012. Kicking off festival season, Coachella looked like it turned out to be everything it promised and much more. In true style, alongside the music and arts, festival fashion took over the front pages of magazines and shop floors. Whether you go all out with a new outfit or don some cut up old jeans with a forgotten tie-die T, festival fashion is something everyone can achieve, and above all, is so much fun! This week, at the MSL office, we thought we would look back on Coachella festival and pick out some of our favourite frocks.
Showing how easy the festival look is to achieve, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley rocked the simple white shirt and denim shorts. The look is brought to life with the embellishments on the denim shorts which are fun and chic, coupled with bangles and accessories to match. Rosie has shown how comfort and fashion can be achieved and that every wardrobe has an item perfect for the festival look.
I love how she doesn’t over do the stereotypical boho style that is seen everywhere at Coachella. The look is very elegant and she combines different textures, prints and colours to complete the look.
My favourite look for Coachella 2012 has to be Vanessa Hudgens. I have always loved her Californian boho style and this look truly epitomises the spirit of the festival. The cream crocheted cardi and flowers in the hair really make this outfit of me, Vanessa, like me loves vintage jewellery and piling on the rings and bangles add to the look. I will defiantly be wearing this look for summer.
