Aspiring princesses everywhere might just have to put their royal dreams to bed as Prince Harry is now officially off the market. Harry is said to be ‘besotted’ with Meghan Markle, a 35-year-old actress hailing from LA, who is best known for her role as Rachel Zane in the hit US TV drama Suits. News of the royal romance officially emerged at the end of last month and it is reported that the pair met in May while Prince Harry was in Canada promoting the Invictus Games 2017. Introduced by a mutual friend both Harry and Meghan are passionate campaigners for various social issues and are said to have much in common.
Reports say that Harry, 32, reportedly pursued Meghan with a series of texts and swept her off her feet during a visit to London in early July. The new couple have managed to keep their relationship a secret for almost six whole months, but it’s now been thrown into the spotlight, to the chagrin of Prince Harry. Before her rise to fame Meghan was just a normal girl. After college she worked for the US Embassy in Buenos Aires and only began acting after allegedly being discovered by a manager who was handed a recording of one of her college films while at a party.

The site, which has more than 106,000 followers on Instagram and 11,000 on Twitter, was set up to reframe beauty content to include thought-provoking editorial about self-empowerment and feature dynamic, inspirational women. Who’s That Girl…
Meghan first hit US screens when she featured in an episode of TV medical drama General Hospital in 2002, after which we starred in CSI, Without A Trace and Castle. By 2011, she had appeared in three major Hollywood films: Get Him To The Greek, Remember Me and Horrible Bosses alongside Jennifer Aniston.
More Than Just a Pretty Face…
It’s not just fashion and films that are important to Meghan. She is also an active humanitarian campaigner who’s big on gender equality and her commitment to the cause has seen her work with United Nations Women, where she received a standing ovation for a speech made on International Women’s Day.
