Vintage Rocks at The Boogaloo

The Boogaloo, on the corner of Archway Road High Gate, played host to Vintage Rocks last month.

Models dressed in eclectic assortments of fashions from the 50s through to the 90s strutted their stuff on the catwalk and embodied each era with perfect ease. Guests were treated to the diverse range of styles and looks from vintage boutique Rock Candy. Guests were invited to shop the vintage stalls out back both before the show commenced and the rails upon rails of classic vintage finds and quirky garments meant there was something for everyone and every budget. We fell in love with the 90s Levi dungarees and treasure trove of chunky jewelled rings.

Set to a medley of the best music from the decades, it was hard not to feel the vibes and tap your Dr Marten clad foot along to the set, a set that will ensure I am back at The Boogaloo very soon. At The Boogaloo the lights are low, time worn mish mashed furniture fills the room and the walls are decorated with hand painted famous quotes. The whole ambiance is like something out of a movie and instantly transports you back to years gone by. For all of these reasons and more The Boogaloo was the prefect backdrop to the evening.
