Kicking off the style diary this week we welcome Deborah from the blog ‘Bang on Style’ and she certainly lives up to her name. Brightening up simple ripped jeans and white t shirt Deborah has accessorised her look with a statement fedora and leather backpack. A beautifully textured red cropped jacket accentuates her lovely curvy figure. Still clinging onto her summer wardrobe Deborah braves the chilly weather in chunky sandals – when the cold becomes too much to bare just add in a pair of cute socks and you will be winter ready.

Get to know Bang On Style:

What do you do when you’re not blogging?

I work as a Stage Manager in a theatre, finding and making props for shows and running the department. I’m also trained as a Makeup Artist. When I’m not doing that I’m hanging out with my husband and our gorgeous jack Russell Eddie.

What interests you?

I love fashion and street style. I enjoy reading other blogs and trying out new trends. I love to be creative and crafty, making and reworking clothes and jewellery, and I’m soon to start selling a small range of hand embellished hats for winter. I also have a serious shopping addiction! I can’t go anywhere, even the supermarket, without buying clothes!

What is your motivation everyday?

In the week my motivation is the weekend which is when I do most of my blogging and what I look forward to most. At the weekend I love styling and shooting outfits and catching up on lots of other blogs too.

Do you have a treasured garment?

Definitely my wedding dress. It is probably the most expensive and the most beautiful dress I will ever wear and made me feel like a princess, which is why I’ll never get rid of it.

What is your best style advice?

Choose and wear things you like and you enjoy wearing, that’s the most important thing.

Who is your style inspiration?

I love Fearne Cotton’s relaxed and rock style, plus she has tattoos like me. I like that she’s girly with a hint of rock. Other bloggers inspire me too for example I adore Emma Hill’s style, she always looks amazing.

Where do you see yourself in ten years time?

I’d love to still be blogging and maybe have my own online business that would allow me to be creative on a daily basis.

What is your biggest highlight in your career to date?

Being the face of the Fashion side of eBay’s Collection campaign. It was very odd seeing my face on the homepage but I was really proud too.

Which trends will make a return next season?

This Autumn/Winter fur is still going to be massive and especially rich colours like red and greens. For Spring/Summer I’m happy to say my favourite clothing item the culottes, are set to stick around too!

What would you like to be remembered for?

For being brave enough to try new things and not being afraid to fail sometimes.
