Connecting and fashion are what really make Mirna tick and here at MSL we could not agree with her more. Bringing women together through their passion of all things fashion is what we pride ourselves on at MSL; so to come across such a likeminded young women is a real inspiration.
Mirna Huhoja is a 19-year-old fashion blogger from Croatia. A student in Art and Museology, Mirna feels her studies are her single biggest resource in being able to feel connected to the world. It was Mirna’s hungry appetite to feel connected, and her life motto, “you’ve got a future, so give your hopes a chance” that lead her to start her own blog. Born from the idea that she could present things that she simply found fascinating and made her happy, she began blogging about the one thing that she favors most, Fashion. “I just Love being able to express myself without speaking and that’s the main Reason why I’m in love with fashion.”
An avid lover of fashion Mirna’s most treasured item of clothing is her Alexander McQueen scarf. The scarf, which was a birthday gift from her boyfriend holds a special place in her heart not only because it was a gift from a loved one, but because Alexander McQueen is her all time favorite designer, “My skull scarf is so incredibly beautiful” Mirna teams her black and pink skull scarf with a “simple pair of jeans, t-shirt and a blazer” for a stylish day time look. “Any time I want to feel special, I put on my McQueen scarf, I always feel so beautiful when I am wearing it and it always reminds me of my boyfriend.” Mirna describes the scarf as her “big love” and will hope to one day pass this treasured garment down too her own daughter.
Mirna is certainly one young lady who is hell bent on following her dreams. She took a chance with her blog in the hope she would reach a slightly wider audience than her peers, but could of never of imagined that her blog would gain such a large following. It would appear the things that fascinate Mirna, also put a smile on the faces of so many others to. Looks like that life motto is really paying off.
Before we finished our interview with Mirna we asked her to tell as a fun fact and here it is, “Did you knew that the use of perfume goes as far back as the Egyptian era, where they would use perfume in religious rituals” Smart and stylish, Mirna MSL applauds you.
