“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions…”

Have you ever had something you dreamt of turn into your reality? Maybe you’re finally in your dream job? Or had the chance to go to a country you’ve always wanted to visit? It feels great to accomplish a goal or achieve a desire that was only a mere thought once, right?

Well imagine if life was consistently filled with what you desired and you were the person you were truly happy to be? The Law of Attraction says it can be, and is created by none other than you.

It is said that the Law of Attraction can bring you greater health, love, money, spiritual connection and virtually anything you wish to have in your life.

It is the belief that ‘like attracts like’, and that by focussing on positive thoughts, we can bring about positive results. It can work from the smallest to the greatest of things you may want to happen in your existence.

Yet it does not differentiate between types of thoughts you may have.  At times, we get into a habit of constantly thinking about the things we don’t want in our lives – “I don’t want to get into debt”, “I don’t want to be late for work”, “I don’t want to spill anything on my new dress”.  These negative thoughts can sometimes outweigh the positive ones in our minds, and because we spend so much thought on what we DON’T want to happen, that’s exactly what we attract. This is why it is imperative to focus on what you DO want to happen in your life.

The Law of attraction has long been referred to as ‘The Secret’ by the very few who have prospered from it. This ‘New thought movement’ was said to be the correlation between the great leaders, scholars and achievers throughout history.

The phrase has been used in a wide variety of books and articles over the last century, but seemed to have not been that accessible by the public domain. For what reason, I don’t know, but since the success of the 2006 documentary ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne, more and more people are being enlightened as to how the law of attraction can truly enhance our lives.

Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King Jr and Mother Theresa were all said to be avid believers of the Law of Attraction, and achieved greatness and change in their own ways.

So how do you use the law of Attraction to give yourself a fulfilling life? Quite simply, by using a three – step process:

  • ASK – Find out and be grateful for the things already present in your life. Think about and imagine what else you desire i.e. “I want to be…”, “I can do…”, “I would like…”
  • BELIEVE – Positively visualise living your fulfilled life – truly believe that the universe will bring this to you.
  • RECEIVE – Reap the benefits and gratefully live a happy prosperous life!

This may be surprising to hear but as much as we feel that outside circumstances are the biggest influences on our feelings and thoughts, we are truly the only ones who control our emotions and therefore we are the only ones in charge of our ultimate progression.

This is not an instantaneous process so don’t expect to have the lavish lifestyle you may have dreamed of to come by the end of the week, as with all changes it takes time. That being said I remind you that belief is one of the biggest factors so don’t worry about how these things you desire will come just know they will.

Just to name a few, today’s pioneers of the law of attraction who are not afraid to share this thought movement are:

Oprah Winfrey

Will smith

Jim Carrey

There is nothing you cannot aspire to do or have when you know how to activate and utilize this unlimited power that lies within you.
