Day 6 after LFW. Somerset house is empty, the desk chair is familiar again and the cold is drawing in as we reach the end of September. London Fashion Week is well and truly over. No more rushing to and from shows, no more Vitamin waters from the press lounge and no more eccentric street styles. It is a sad time for those of us who thrive during the busy week in London. So this week, to cure our LFW blues, team Semple have been seeking fashionable products that will comfort and revive us from head to toe, ready for Milan and Paris.

Feet
All that rushing around has taken its toll on our toes. As the saying goes ‘beauty is pain’ and our favourite heels have left our feet worse for wear. However, there is a cure. Carnation footcare have been taking care of Britain’s feet for over 85 years and so our first call of action was to seek their expertise. Teaming together Carnation’s exfoliating foot scrub, anti-blister stick and carnation pedi-roller will banish all foot aches resulting in happy feet ready to take on the journey to the next show destination.

Nails
As the beautiful models gracefully stroll down the catwalk, we are busy taking it all in and making notes, ready to write up a review as soon as possible. This unfortunately means our nails get neglected for the week. But fear not, O.P.I nail lacquers will transform your nails giving them colour and excitement with a glossy finish. We’ve been using ‘Brights Power’, ‘Got the Blues for Red’ and ‘Barre my Soul’ to brighten our days again.

Ears
Mornings are tough as it is, but after LFW they seem ten times harder. However, Buffalo Stance by Neneh Cherry is the perfect motivator to get you up ready for the day ahead. This song is also linked to the fashion industry. Henry Holland, designer and slogan tee king, remixed this song to inspire both the brand’s presentation and Pre-Spring 2012 collection. Furthermore, the song featured in Leutton Postle’s SS13 collection and so the beat will bring back memories and no doubt inspire your wardrobe choice for the day.

Eyes
Words can heal the soul and for this reason, we are recommending a great read to pamper the eyes. Nina Garcia is the current Fashion Director at Marie Claire magazine and is the New York Times bestselling author of four books on style and fashion. ‘The One hundred: A guide to the pieces every stylish woman must own’ is the ultimate book to cure any of your dress dilemmas, having exhausted your wardrobe during LFW. Teaching you to find the timeless pieces in your wardrobe, The One Hundred contains the items that Nina believes will never go out of style, and that have become absolutely indispensible for any woman reaching for her own eternal fashion look.
