Up until a couple of weeks ago we were ever so nearly managing to avoid the brisk and jaw juddering depths of winter. Then one day we woke up and it hit us like a snow ball in the face. Winter. Although winter has its perks: crisp and fresh mornings, cosy nights by a fire and roast dinners, it also has one perk in particular that we can all enjoy: the sales!
