Often referred to as the Fashion Bible, it is really only fitting that Vogue should host the festival that brings together some of the biggest names in the industry. Returning for a second year, the Vogue Festival, in association with Vertu, is a gala of glamour showcasing some of the talented people who have worked alongside the world famous magazine.

If the word festival conjures up images of muddy fields, bad hair days and smelly toilets then fear not, as this is one event you can enjoy as your most stylish self without the need for washing with make-up removal wipes. Held over two days the event hosts talks from some of the biggest names in the industry including Mario Testino, Victoria Beckham and Donatella Versace.

The event is being held on the 27th & 28th April 2013 at the Southbank Centre with a programme of eleven talks over the two days.  Talks will be on varying topics from the world of fashion including “Can fashion change the world?” by Livia Firth and “The Secrets of Creating a British Brand”. Vogue Editor-at-Large Fiona Golfar will be hosting a debate on body image and you can also get a glimpse behind the scenes of a Vogue cover shoot.

As well as the interesting and illuminating talks there is plenty of opportunity to take part in a number of workshops and demonstrations; Dior will be there to advise you on the upcoming spring make up trends and the Vogue Braid Bar will give you the opportunity to test out hair styles that are straight off the catwalks.

You won’t find a more glamorous festival this year so book your tickets now to ensure your place on this fashion pilgrimage, no wellies required.
