Surviving the warm weather doesn’t mean having to hold out in the style stakes for Liz. Embracing the heat Liz wears a tropical print skirt with a delicate peplum detail at the waist, teamed with a black crop top revealing a sliver of her toned torso. Crop tops were all over the catwalks for S/S 14 and it’s ability to easily be re created by the high street means it’s here to stay. Block heeled sandals are the chic but comfortable option for those longs days on your feet. Polishing off this outfit with a Saint Laurent handbag has the outfit ready for the the nine to fivers.

Get to Liz Best…

What do you do when your not blogging?

When I’m not blogging, I’m either traveling, reading or thrift shopping. Other than that, I am most likely at home playing with my puppy.

What interests you?

I am interested in the different cultures I’m exposed to when I travel and I am also deeply passionate about animal rights.

What is your motivation everyday?

I am motivated everyday by my love of fashion. I hate to think of being in a moment and not being perfectly dressed for it. Dressing for the occasion has always been important to me as my style evolves.

Do you have a treasured garment?

My most treasured garment is probably my vintage tan chanel bag my mom gave to me. I had always admired it, and she gifted it to me for Valentine’s Day this year.

What is your best style advice?

My best style advice is not to be afraid to look in unexpected places. Some of my favorite pieces are from gift shops and thrift stores.

Who is your style inspiration?

My style inspiration changes everyday but I always admire the style of Leandra Medine, Mary Kate Olsen, and Yasmin Sewell.

Where do you see yourself in ten years time?

In ten years, I hope to be writing and styling and hopefully living in a fun place that allows me to be outdoors a lot. I would love to be a published author by then as well.

What is your biggest highlight in your career to date?

The biggest highlight in my blogging career would have to be being featured on VOGUE UK’s website last fashion week.

Which trends will make a return next season?

I think the plaid and athletic inspired trends are here to stay. There was a lot of print mixing shown on the runway for Fall as well.

What would you like to be remembered for?

I would like to be remembered for how I mix things to create my outfits. I never shop from one store and am always open to changing it up.
