I usually don’t get excited/prepared/remotely organised for Christmas until around the 24th of December. That’s just how it’s always been for me, it’s not practical and it’s definitely not good for the stress levels, but I refuse to start thinking about it months in advance…until now.

My team at work is starting to organise the Christmas meal and secret Santa, the emails are circulating and the names are being drawn. Because the meal is a little before Christmas it means I have to buy a present earlier, a lot earlier. The rule is: anything you want for £10 or under.

After a lot of looking around I came across some great gift ideas for colleagues that won’t break the bank. If you are in a similar position and need some help, here’s what I found:

Wild Argan Oil Treats, £8, The Body Shop

I love the body shop for mini treats, everything looks and smells delicious. For £8 you get Argan oil shower gel, body lotion and a bath lily. It comes nicely packaged and would be a lovely gift for anyone that appreciates a little luxury.

socks

Ginger Bread Placement Socks, £3.50, Accessorize

Socks and Christmas go hand-in-hand, or should we say foot-in-foot! Socks are a great stocking filler, but an even better secret Santa gift because, well, you can’t really go wrong.  You can either get a pair for £3 or three for £8 from Accessorize. They have a selection of patterns to choose from, so you can choose which ones would best suit your lucky person.

The boss cupBen de Lisi Home Designer fine china mug, £8.50, Debenhams

For him or her, this ‘The Boss’ mug would come in handy if you had your manager as your secret Santa, or perhaps someone in your life who may be just a little bit bossy? Either way it a humorous gift that will leave them wondering who their Santa was this year.

sweets

The Letterbox Buster, £7.47, Amazon

Because who wouldn’t want a box full of sweets?

coffee

Single-Origin Coffee Variety Pack, £13.95, Starbucks

Now this one is a little over the £10 mark but still good value for money. Most people rely heavily on a good cup of coffee to start their day of right and with three flavours to choose from this would make a great gift idea for any coffee lover.
