The Style Diary is back! And this week its turn of Emma from My London Lifestyle
Emma is a stylish student documenting her travels, wardrobe and culinary skills on her blog ‘My London Lifestyle’. She manages to pull off ‘thrown on and looking effortless’ very well. Beginning the week looking ever so nonchalant, baring her enviously tanned legs in a neutral flared skirt and cute suede brown boots. Dark sunglasses and scarf pull this casual cool look together.

Get to know Emma…
What do you do when your not blogging?
I study! I’m at university in my final year at King’s College London. Or I see friends and go exploring round London. I tend to spend all the money I earn on travel so when I can I like to get away for a bit.
What interests you?
Photography, travel and people! I love meeting new people and people watching…in the least creepy way.
What is your motivation everyday?
To do something that makes me happy.
Do you have a treasured garment?
My Mulberry handbag. I love it.
What is your best style advice?
Wear things that flatter you, don’t worry about what’s in fashion this season. Wear what makes you feel sexy and confident and you’ll look fabulous.
Who is your style inspiration?
Kate Moss and Millie Mackintosh – all her clothes just always look so good and my friends – I like seeing what my friends wear; they always look good.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?
Hmm that’s an ominous question. I’d like to have travelled to South America and all over the world, lived in two other countries, be writing full time, potentially with my own company and I’d like to be married and maybe have a baby. Although that is a terrifying thought.
What is your biggest highlight in your career to date?
I can’t say I’ve had a huge amount of a career just yet. I’m only just 21. I’ve worked for Abercrombie and a smoothie bar…Which I’d hardly call a career. I’d say I’m happy with how my blogs going, however there’s plenty of things I’d like to accomplish before I consider anything a success!
What would you like to be remembered for?
I would like to be remembered as a good friend and someone fun to be around. It’d be awesome to be remembered for my writing or photography. Maybe I’ll write a book when I grow up to ensure this.
