Opening with an electro wildfire inspired soundtrack of running water and woodpecker birds, John Roach sent silhouettes adorned with delicate floral appliqués down his SS14 catwalk this LFW.

First came the white and red; petals were scattered and cascading along hems, soft white A-line skirts were teamed with cropped sheath tops in transparent silks and garden floral patterns in lilacs and greens cover tired gowns, giving a gentle whimsical feel to a collection that danced will such fluidity.

Then day made way to night, as gold and black wreaths were embroidered onto the sheerest of silk dresses, cutting a sexier feel for this half of the collection. Wide brimmed couture headwear and shopper totes were fashioned from twisted acetate to create a lace like texture and peplums and sleeves made a prominent feature. Delicate, sensual and feminine; Rocha’s show was nothing short of breathtakingly beautiful.
