With locations all over the world from Dubai and Tokyo to Istanbul and Mexico it was only a matter of time before this revolutionary educational experience for children aged 4-14 came to London. Sitting in the heart of Westfield shopping centre is KidZania world; a place in which kids can go to let their imaginations run wild whilst their parents shop.
I know what you’re thinking; it’s just another soft play area for kids to burn energy at, but you’d be incredibly wrong. KidZania is its own little city full of real life styled roles and sectors including their own police academy, hotel, dentist, beauty salon and newspaper to name but a few. With around 50 different role playing educational activities to hand, kids can dive head first into what interests them.
Stepping into KidZania you’ll find children so immersed and interested in their tasks that they won’t even realise you’re there. From learning how to fit and fix an air conditioning unit, to checking boarding passes and weighing luggage it’s unlike anything you’ve seen before.
Born from the desire to empower and educate children, it’s the ultimate role playing world that makes learning fun. It’s a brand new way of thinking about how we educate future generations and how they experience the world – the way we nurture their natural interests is incredibly important and something that we’re starting to pay a lot more attention to.
Spread over 70 thousand square foot this child-size city teaches children about the real world in a safe and fun way. Here they can work and earn kidZos, which they can receive as either cash or credit to spend on goods and services whilst inside KidZania.
Compared to other activity centres across the country that rarely offer any real creative stimulation, KidZania is a far cry from the norm; placing a real importance on finding what your children enjoy and encouraging that development, in turn creating a happier and more productive generation!
