The style diary this week is being led by Larissa from the blog ‘From Hats to Heels’. Embracing a winter favourite – knitwear, Larissa styles a cropped jumper with a matching knitted midi skirt. The flattering pastel blue colour and texture of this co-ord will mean this is a wardrobe winner all season long. Braving the cold in a crop top showing off just a sliver of her toned stomach. A statement jewelled and gold necklace, and gold ring is just the right amount of jewellery to accessorise this clean and sophisticated look. Silver strappy sandals work perfectly against Larissa’s beautiful skin tone and this slightly oversized but tailored camel coat is this seasons must-have piece to keep you warm and stylish. Larissa’s signature curly hair and natural make-up create a faultless outfit for any occasion.

 Meet From Hats to Heels

What do you do when your not blogging?

Good question! It feels like I am always busy with my blog. Besides that I like to have a good time with my friends, go to the movies or have some drinks in the city. And I love traveling, reading and music.

What interests you?

Fashion and traveling are my main interests besides friends and family. I love to explore the world and the fashion industry.

What is your motivation everyday?

I have always had a clear vision of my goal, and it’s not just my goal, but also the journey to it that keeps me motivated: the great experiences, and the lovely people I meet.

Do you have a treasured garment?

I used to treasure my leather skater skirt. Right now it would have to be my wool camel coat.

What is your best style advice?

Stay true to who you are. If you feel good in what you are wearing, you’ll carry that off.

Who is your style inspiration?

There is not just one person that inspires me. I have several style icons, from Rihanna to Christine Centenera and from Miroslava Duma to Olivia Palermo. Besides that there are a lot of online influencers that inspire me as well.

Where do you see yourself in ten years time?

I hope that in ten years I will still be doing what I love, in a more structured way, settled.

What is your biggest highlight in your career to date?

I feel very lucky to have had the chance to design my own T-shirts last year.

Which trends will make a return next season?

I’m afraid that the skirt over pants trend is coming back in a few seasons.

What would you like to be remembered for?

I would like to be remembered for the contrast in my style and personality, which is the romantic chic calm on the one hand and the sassy, rebellious edge on the other hand.
